I'm Shawnita Murdock, founder of Docktor Hair, a licensed Barber, and Natural Hair Care Professional with a passion for helping people understand and care for their natural hair.

Docktor Hair grew from my own healthy hair journey, the needs I saw in my clients, and my desire for effective products that make natural haircare feel less complicated. Behind the chair, I saw how often hair was styled without first addressing what it truly needed... proper cleansing, moisture, balance and consistent care.

I created this brand to show people that healthy hair is easier than you think! You shouldn't have to depend on a salon visit every time your hair needs care (although we offer that as well). However, with the right products, education, and routine, professional quality haircare can continue at home.

That belief became the foundation of everything we do: Hair Care Over Hair Style. Our products are created to help women, men, and children confidently care for their hair between professional appointments. We don't simply sell products, we want to help you understand your hair, build a consistent routine, and enjoy the results of it.
